Hardrush Music is an medium size Indie recording label that releases and distributes recordings across Australia and to the world. Hardrush comprises some 100 quality recording artists with sales of 3 million last year. Hardrush is one of the fastest growing recording labels in what is a very competitive and low margin global music market. Our major strengths are in Australian Blues/Roots, Country, Christian/Gospel, Pop, Rock and Urban with emerging Classical, Jazz, Folk and World genres.
The main activities of Hardrush are:
- Distribution of music under the Hardrush Music label (prefix HRD)
- Promotion of artists' recorded music audio and video releases
- Assistance with and coordination of events (tours, festivals, etc)
- Publishing representation, licensing and protection of songwriters' compositions
Being an Indie label Hardrush does not fund recording or undertake direct management of artists.
We focus on distribution, promotion, events and publishing - getting the music out there!
